At the ZooDirections
Join SCZ for a beginner’s course in bird-watching!
This class is designed for those with little to no experience in bird watching. Whether you want to take up birding as a hobby but aren’t sure where to start or you just want to learn to recognize some common Kansas species, this class has got you covered. Novice birders will enjoy this introduction to the basics of birding and then practice their new skills with a stroll through the Zoo.
This program is designed for individual groups who do not need to social distance with other members of the group. A minimum of four people is required for the program. Program begins and ends at the Cargill Learning Center. Don’t see a date that works for you? Contact Education at 316-266-8213.
