Join us for an exciting hands-on look at conservation! In Conservation Academy, students will have the opportunity to assist with multiple Citizen Science projects and learn the basics of environmental interpretation.

Learn how to identify birds, collect data on native box turtles, learn frog calls, count caterpillars, survey wildflowers, and more! Teens will develop public speaking skills, discover conservation science, and build leadership abilities. In Conservation Academy, we are learning, leading and saving the planet! Students may spend some time inside and out, but the majority of this class is spent walking outside. Students in Conservation Academy should wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.

This program runs Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for one week.
