Homeschool at the Zoo

We know that many homeschooling families embrace the freedom they have to enjoy experiences beyond the four walls of the traditional classroom. Let the Sedgwick County Zoo be your real-life, fresh-air, nearby learning lab. Take advantage of the opportunity to leave the computer and make contact with the exotic without leaving Wichita or breaking the family budget. Plan an adventure to the Zoo for your students in grades 1–5. There are lots of exciting hands-on adventures for your homeschool family. You can choose between formal and informal activities.

Guests with special needs are welcome. Please contact the education department for more information.
