Chinese crocodile lizard

Resembling a miniature crocodile, this rare lizard is highly aquatic and can be found in shallow streams or resting in streamside bushes. Slow-moving, it prowls the banks of small streams looking for fish, tadpoles, and insects to eat. Females give birth to up to 10 young.
