Long-nosed snake

The long-nosed snake gets its name from its long, slightly upturned snout. It is easily recognized for its bright red and black patterned coloring with cream colored spots in between. A nonvenomous snake, they are a shy species and prefer to burrow themselves underground than be out in the open.
