Frog Watch is a Citizen Science program that connects people with our native amphibians. The program promotes an understanding of the importance of conserving our amphibians. Interested participants attend a short training, in which they learn how to identify native frog calls, monitor a site and collect data. Anyone can be a Frog Watch monitor. Data collection is at the convenience of the monitor, and takes as little as five minutes. This data provides invaluable information on the populations of our native species and can help to influence conservation.
