Caracal lynx

Africa·Mammal

Caracals are not only the fastest cats of their size, but also are excellent at climbing and leaping. They have been known to jump up to six feet straight in the air to hook a bird, pulling it into its mouth with one smooth swipe. Caracals use their distinctive ears to communicate and are strong climbers. Caracals are found to be most active when temperatures are cooler.
