Chinese alligator

Due to habitat loss, increased agriculture, and pesticides, there are now fewer than 200 wild Chinese alligators, making them one of the most endangered crocodilians in the world. Although it used to range over most of eastern China, it is now restricted to a few areas in the lower Yangtze River drainage area.
