Cownose Stingray

The cownose stingray is a medium sized stingray native to the western Atlantic Ocean. Cownose stingrays are highly active and are commonly found in shallow coastal waters where they forage for food like crabs, clams, oysters and more. Considered a migratory species, cownose rays often travel in large schools and migrate long distances to find food and mate.
