Saw-Scaled Viper

Saw scaled vipers are a unique species that has a characteristic threat display, rubbing sections of their body together to produce a "sizzling" warning sound. These snakes have special scales that have a central ridge that is serrated like a sharp saw, hence the name Saw-scaled viper.
