Giant Snake-Necked Turtle
The giant snake-neck turtle has a long neck, much like that of a snake. They are also called the Roti Island snake-necked turtle, named for Rote Island in Indonesia where the turtle was first discovered. Until 1994, they were considered the same species as the New Guinea snake-necked turtle.
