Grey gull

Cessna Penguin Cove·Bird

Between the months of November and January, grey gulls fly as many as 60 miles inland to the Atacama Desert, one of the driest places on Earth. There, they breed and nest. Gull parents take turns flying back and forth to the rich feeding grounds of the coast to bring food and water to their chicks.
