Heritage shorthorn cow
The milking shorthorn was first brought to America in the 1700s and became widespread by the end of the 1800s. This important breed was valued for its milk and beef production as well as being an excellent draft cow. These cattle typically are red, white or speckled in color, and are very docile in nature.
