Red-legged seriema
These territorial birds threaten intruders with aggressive calls, running, and attacking with their beak and claws. They’re fast runners and can reach speeds of 15mph before flight takeoff. These traits make the red-legged seriema ideal guard animals, with farmers often using them to protect livestock.
