Scarlet-faced liocichla

These birds were recently defined as their own species separate from the red-face liocichla. Scarlet-faced liocichla build a cup-shaped nest close to the ground, either in a tree sapling, thorn bush, or bamboo clump. The female will then lay around 3 eggs of a pale blue color.
