Sun conure

These striking birds are a vibrant yellow with orange faces and blue-green wings. Sun conures are experiencing a rapid population decrease due to habitat loss. The birds are also hunted for their plumage and for pet trade. It is estimated that more sun conures live in people’s homes than in the wild.
