Nature STEAM Activities
Sedgwick County Zoo’s education team has crafted nature-based STEAM activities to get your family out of the house for fun and learning without any additional stress!
ZOOM with the ZOO
Perfect for childcare groups, virtual classroom field trips, social-distancing-friendly birthday parties, or families who want to explore a specific area of the Zoo, these LIVE video adventures will be tailored to suit your unique interests and requests.
Virtually WILD
Make your next virtual meeting a wild one by inviting a Zoo friend to join in. We’ll bring an animal of your choice (just give us a couple of options in case your first choice isn’t available) to your next business, club, or social virtual meeting. Virtually Wild sessions will last up to 20 minutes, however you can purchase back-to-back sessions if you’d like for the meeting to last longer. Virtually Wild sessions can be booked anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Meetings taking place outside of this time frame can possibly be arranged. After registrations are received, we’ll contact you to confirm animal choice and meeting details.
