Junior Behind the Scenes Tours

Learning Adventures

Elementary school students in grades 1-5 (age 6-12 years) learn about what happens beyond the “Employees & Animals Only” signs.

After classroom time, students will go behind the scenes to explore the area and maybe even see an expert in action. Students will hear more about the area they visit, how it works, and why the area is important to Zoo operations. Class meets 2:00 -3:30 p.m. on select Saturdays.

This drop-off class is for kids age 6-12 in grades 1-5 only.

Please dress for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are required.
