Southern Stingray
The southern stingray is a medium sized stringray that spends the majority of its time on the ocean floor, hence its unique body shape. These stingrays enjoy burying themselves in the sand, usually with just their eyes uncovered, searching for prey like shrimp, small fish, and other crustaceans.
