Timber Rattlesnake
Endemic to North America, it is potentially one of the country’s most dangerous snakes. Its long fangs, impressive size, and high venom yield make it dangerous. However, this danger is slightly offset by its mild disposition. Before biting, the timber rattlesnake performs warning rattles, allowing those who come upon it plenty of time to flee.
