North America

Habitat

A wide variety of animal and plant species call North America home.

Grizzly bears and cougars can be found in the forests, while bison and prairie dogs make their home on the range. Our North American exhibit showcases native species and educates visitors about the animals that make up our national heritage.

See river otters at play or a rare Mexican grey wolf on the prowl. Glimpse at native creepy-crawlers. Learn about the elk, and catch a glimpse of the magnificent bald eagle. While you’re here, take a moment to feed the water fowl and fish.
